FRequently Asked Questions
How quickly can I be seen?
Most new patients are scheduled within a few days. Uplift was built specifically for people who can’t afford to wait months for care. Click 'Request Appointment' and complete form. I review within 24 hours and contact you to book an appointment time. When something feels off, waiting isn’t the answer.
What conditions do you treat?
Anxiety, depression, ADHD, bipolar disorder, PTSD, insomnia, OCD, burnout, and adjustment disorders, among others. If you’re unsure whether your concerns are a good fit, feel free to reach out before booking.
What are your rates?
See the full fee schedule on the Services page. Payment is due at the time of service.
Do you take insurance?
Uplift Psychiatry is a self-pay practice and does not bill insurance directly. This allows for faster access, privacy, care that isn’t shaped by insurance requirements. A superbill (itemized receipt) can be provided upon request for potential out-of-network reimbursement through your insurer.
Do you prescribe controlled substances?
Controlled substances may be prescribed when clinically appropriate and after a thorough evaluation. Uplift is not a quick-prescription service — treatment decisions are always made thoughtfully and in your best interest.
How do I prepare for my first visit?
Come ready to share your current concerns, any past psychiatric or medical history, and a list of any medications you’re currently taking. There’s no wrong way to show up — just be honest, and we’ll figure out the rest together. What do I do if I need to talk to someone right now?
Uplift is not a crisis service and messages are not monitored for emergencies. If you are experiencing a mental health emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency room. For immediate support, call or text 988 to reach the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline.
